Tracey Stephens
Tracey Stephens Born in Pahiatua, New Zealand, and raised in Taupo from the age of one to fifteen, I developed a passion for postcards and images with pictures. At a young age, I received my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic. I vividly recall one of my earliest images taken at the Auckland Museum of The Thinker, seated in an upstairs room with a beautiful view through tall windows. The shadows and light captured by this camera captivated me, and a black and white image remains among my thousands of photographs, the one that continues to inspire my ongoing fascination with black and white, natural light, and dark shadows.
My work is displayed in collectors’ homes in Italy, America, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
